HD Format EMCCD Camera

Camera: HD resolution monochrome.
Weather: Clear starlight with broken cloud, range 500m.
Image: Roof top skylight, very bright but camera enables the details in the background to be clearly seen.

The new EMCCD camera from Defence Vision Systems has an enhanced capability to suppress the normal flare seen, under low light conditions, when viewing bright lights in the field of view. The two images above provide clear evidence of this capability.

Camera: HD resolution monochrome.
Weather: Clear starlight with broken cloud, range 4.5Km.
Image: Pier, note the light at the right-hand side. Flare from this is contained and the camera enables the details around the pier to be clearly seen.
